How the Math Works

The calculator uses three basic concentration and volume calculations.

Calculate Concentration Total amount (mg) ÷ total liquid volume (mL) = concentration in mg/mL.

Calculate Each Spray Concentration (mg/mL) × pump volume (mL) = amount delivered per spray.

Estimate Total Sprays Total liquid volume (mL) ÷ pump volume (mL) = approximate sprays in the bottle.

Why Pump Volume Matters

Pump output directly affects the amount contained in each spray. A calculation based on 0.10 mL will not be accurate if the actual pump delivers a different volume. Use the manufacturer's verified pump output whenever available.
